As part of the F.Y. B.Ed. Community Work Programme, student teachers rendered community service at Jeevan Jyoti Charitable Trust from 3rd to 12th September 2025. They conducted engaging sessions in basic English and Mathematics, storytelling, action songs, drawing, craft work, educational games, and awareness programmes on hygiene, cleanliness, and healthy habits. The activities were designed to create a joyful and learner-friendly environment while encouraging active participation among the children.
The programme enabled the student teachers to apply innovative and activity-based teaching methods while developing empathy, communication, and classroom management skills. It was a rewarding experience that reinforced the importance of compassionate teaching and community engagement in shaping responsible future educators.
