Community Service Day was celebrated on 31st January 2026 by B.Ed. students through a meaningful outreach programme with children from Florin Bal Ashram, Rohinjan Gaon, Taloja, under the guidance of Dr. Geeta Thakur. The student-teachers, along with faculty members, visited the NGO and escorted the children to Pillai College of Arts, Science and Commerce, where they were warmly welcomed.
A shared lunch was organized to create a friendly and comfortable environment, followed by a series of fun-filled activities and games such as Balloon Relay Race, Musical Glass Grab, and Flying Balloon, in which the children participated with great enthusiasm. The event concluded with a group photograph and the distribution of a small token of appreciation. The experience was deeply enriching and memorable, highlighting the values of compassion, service, and meaningful engagement with the community.
