Pillai College of Education and Research, New Panvel has been granted permission for the Research Centre for Ph.D. degree in the subject of Education by the University of Mumbai in 2012. Presently, Dr. Sally Enos, Dr. Bhavna Dave and Dr. Geeta S. Thakur are the recognized guides of this Centre.

Applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D (Education) for the Academic Year 2025-26. The last date for the submission of the application is 30th July 2025.

The General eligibility criterion for admission-

• Master’s degree in Education (M.Ed. / M.A. (Education) from a recognized university with a minimum qualifying mark of 55% marks or equivalent cumulative grade point average.
• Selected through the National Eligibility Test – UGC NET in Education.

The final selection process for the Ph.D. programme will be through a panel interview.
